TheSize.net publishes dimensions, size charts, conversions, calculators and explanations of size standards for general information. We research every figure and correct errors when we find them, but we do not guarantee that any content is complete, current or free of error, or that it applies to the particular product, model or situation you have in mind.

  • Products vary. Manufacturers change designs, and two products sold under the same size name can differ. Typical dimensions and ranges on this site describe the category, not your item.
  • Confirm critical measurements. Before you buy, cut, order custom work or install anything where a small difference matters (built-in appliances, cabinets, doors, windows, vehicle parts, mounting hardware), check the dimensions with the manufacturer's current specifications or measure the actual item.
  • Rules change. Airline baggage limits, carrier shipping rules, building codes and safety regulations are stated as we understood them on the date shown on each page. Confirm them with the airline, carrier, local building authority or regulator.
  • Brand charts win. Clothing, shoe and ring sizes differ by brand. Use the brand's own size chart when it exists.

Nothing on this site is engineering, architectural, construction, medical, legal or other professional advice. Guides that mention structural spans, building code minimums, electrical items, child car seats, cribs or other safety products summarize published standards for orientation only. Follow the manufacturer's instructions and the governing standard, and consult a qualified professional or your local authority where one is required.

Tools and calculators

The converter, comparison tool, dimensional weight calculator and other calculators run in your browser and give results based on the values you enter and the formulas and factors described on each page. Results are estimates. Carrier invoices, for example, depend on the carrier's own measurement and current rules, which may differ from the calculator.

The text, tables, drawings, code and design of TheSize.net are protected by copyright and belong to TheSize.net unless stated otherwise. Measurements and facts themselves are not owned by anyone, and many come from public standards and specifications. You may:

  • read, print and save pages for your own personal, non-commercial use;
